Our new home built by J&G Homes exceeded our expectations. The architects and design team were very knowledgeable throughout the process and made suggestions that we never would have considered. The customer service team, including our excellent on-site manager, were very patient with our requests (pre- and post-possession), and continued to send contractors until we were satisfied. We have always bought homes through the resale market and, after owning homes from Brandon to Toronto and back, this was our first new home in the truest sense.

Working with people like Melody, Lois and Chris was a wonderful experience. They took ownership of this project and, along with the trades (plus Mother Nature) brought our home to us a month early. Our experience has been very positive and, yes, we would consider building again with J&G!

Everyone that we dealt with was wonderful–from Rebecca, when we were looking for a lot and a plan and her patience–to our meetings with Jared, who took time out of his schedule to meet with me once and both of us for a second meeting–to our meetings with Elana to pick out all of the finishes, and then patiently putting up with all of my email questions and concerns in an honest and clear fashion–to Lois who was working her tail off to get the last little things finished up. The quality of the finishes and the fixtures, included in our package, were a very pleasant surprise.

As we kept looking at overpriced old homes that needed a lot of work, and comparing to build options, coupled with the help Janelle gave us to help us feel like we had someone who could really help us making tougher decisions on building, the build process started to seem less overwhelming. We went from a 980 sq ft home where I rented the basement out to now having 1250 sq ft, a basement and a garage, so we should take a while to outgrow this house! However once we do decide to do something else for a house, J&G will definitely be at the top of the list!

Having people help with some of the tougher decisions to make that process more enjoyable, and to make sure you don’t make decisions you regret later certainly helps to make you more comfortable with the build process, as it is a big investment that you don’t want to screw up!
