Vionell (Jared) Jacobson III, B.B.A.
Born and raised in Brandon, Jared has been actively involved in the Jacobson & Greiner third generation family business from an early age. After completing his secondary education at Brandon University, Bachelor of Business Administration, in 2003 he returned to his roots and continued working for the business. Always looking to improve his industry knowledge, Jared completed his MREA and became a licensed Realtor. In 2004, Jared took over the operations of Jacobson & Greiner, which at the time included J&G Homes and Rona, under the mentorship of his dad, Jack Jacobson. Today, through Jared’s leadership, determination and vision, the organization has grown to include 22 companies, encompassing all areas of construction. Jared focuses on maintaining the image as a quality builder, which has aided in the companies growth over competition. He is hands on within the company and values the relationships he builds with his customers.
Jordan Trotter, B.B.A.
Executive Vice President, J&G Group
Jordan was born and raised in Brandon, attending Brandon University and graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2004. In 2017 he completed the Asper School of Business Executive Education’s Advanced Program in Management, Leadership and Strategy. Most of his time is spent focusing on business development and the creation of long-term value for the organization, from customers to markets to relationships.
Senior Vice President, J&G Group
Garry uses over 30 years of experience to oversee operations of the All-West division of J&G and is responsible for all heavy construction and infrastructure related installation and maintenance. Prior to his position with the J&G, Garry held a senior position with the City of Brandon, which has given him extensive knowledge of the infrastructure make-up and needs of developments within the City of Brandon.
Derrick Stewart, B.SC., J.D.
Chief Legal Officer & Corporate Secretary, J&G Group
Derrick is responsible for all legal matters that impact the J&G’s various operating entities, and all legal aspects of development projects undertaken. Prior to his role with the J&G, Derrick worked in private practice with a focus on corporate and commercial, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, and land development. Derrick is an alumnus of Brandon University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree, and the University of Manitoba, where he obtained a Juris Doctor degree. He is a member of the Law Society of Manitoba.
Dan (Connie) Froese, CPA, CA
Vice President of Finance, J&G Group
Connie provides strategic and financial directions to assist the Group in reaching its business goals. Her experience includes business acquisitions and mergers, corporate restructuring and planning, business projections and new business start ups, as well as process and procedures engineering. Connie provides leadership for the group’s effective risk management strategy and she leads the group’s centralized administration team which is responsible for accounting, finance, human capital and information technology related matters. Connie also provides leadership to the Group’s Winnipeg and Vancouver operations.
