One shot could be worth $1,000,000 toward a new J&G home

At each Brandon Wheat Kings home game, two eligible attendees are selected:One season ticket holder automatically advances to the season finale. One regular ticket holder takes the game-night qualifying shot. Make the shot, and you advance to the season finale.

One shooter is selected from the season-ticket-holder pool attending

that night and automatically entered into the final round.

A second shooter is selected from eligible game attendees, and is brought onto the ice

to shoot a qualifying shot to move on to the finals.

Participation begins by attending a home game and being selected.

Attend a home game

Be at a Brandon Wheat Kings home game and enter at the EVENT BOOTH.

Be selected

One attending season-ticket holder will AUTOMATICALLY be entered into the final (attendence not required) and one eligible game attendee is chosen at each game.

Take the qualifier

Shoot from the centre ice red line toward the larger opening at the far goal line.

Make it to advance

A successful qualifying shot places your name in the season-finale random-draw pool.

When your name is called, you step onto the ice and take the qualifying shot. Put the puck through the opening at the far goal line to enter the finalist pool.

One finalist.
One shot.
No practice.

One contestant is randomly drawn from the pool of successful game-night qualifiers. That contestant receives one attempt from behind the far blue line.

To win
The puck must leave the contestant’s stick and pass completely through the opening without stopping.

Toward a new J&G home

The prize is applied toward a new home built by J&G Homes Ltd. The supplied rules do not describe it as a cash prize.

If the final shot goes in
The contestant may claim the $1,000,000 home-building prize.

Awarding the prize is subject to every Official Rule, all insurer conditions and verification by the insurer’s representative.

Who is not eligible

Professional players

Current and former professional hockey players are not eligible.

Specified competitive players

Current players – and anyone who played within the last five years – at Canadian high school varsity, prep/academy, junior or university level, or an international equivalent, are not eligible.

No substitute shooter

A selected contestant must take their own shot and cannot designate another person.

How the final shot is controlled

WHL-standard equipment and rink setup

Sticks, pucks, ice, goal dimensions and line distances must adhere to WHL regulations.

Complete video record

The video must show the puck’s complete path until it comes to a full stop.

Insurer oversight

A designated insurer representative helps administer the finale and confirms compliance.

Game-night selection
